Joe Kanoza is a talented and highly regarded artist who has been painting professionally for more than 30 years. He is particularly well-known for his vibrant portraits and golf landscapes. Joe began his training at the Ivy School of Art in Pittsburgh where he was a student and a student teacher. Before opening his studio in 1976, Joe worked as a designer and illustrator for several prominent art studios and advertising agencies. He also served as the head Military Illustrator in a unit stationed in the Nation's Capitol.
For several years Joe has focused on fine art portraits done primarily in oil. His technical understanding of the medium combined with detailed process result in a beautiful, unique work of art. His portraits include individuals, couples and entire families.
In addition to his portraits, Joe has earned a reputation as an outstanding golf landscape artist. His intense passion for the game of Golf makes it possible for him to capture the mood and stunning beauty of each golf course he paints.
